- Green Bay - Marilyn Ann Matuszak, 88, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018. She was born on February 9, 1930, in Seymour, WI to Peter and Mildred (Lambie) Buechler.
On October 21, 1950, Marilyn married Arthur Matuszak at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. She was employed with Shopko in the corporate office from 1968 to 1991, retiring as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. Marilyn enjoyed her many travels and their relaxing cottage life. Mostly, she loved to spend time with family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arthur; three children, Daniel Matuszak, Gary and Jill Matuszak, Susan and Phil Plamann; grandchildren, Rachel Matuszak, Lauren Matuszak, Monica Matuszak, Carly Matuszak, Melissa (Jim) Sullivan, Matthew (Carly) Matuszak, Jordan Plamann, Alyssa Plamann; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Isabella, Tony, Liam, Wyatt, Noah; a brother, Duane Buechler; and sister-in-law, Barbara Buechler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mildred; sister, Darlene Buechler; brother, Darell Buechler; and sister-in-law, Joanne Buechler.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Lane and Glendale Ave.), from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Scott Valentyn officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
