- Darlene F. Buechler, 83, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 after a long 14 year battle with cancer. She was born in Seymour on April 10, 1932 to the late Peter and Mildred (Lambie) Buechler. Darlene was one of the first graduates of the Inhalation Therapy division of Bellin School of Nursing. Darlene was employed at Bellin and St. Mary's Hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist for 27 years, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed tatting, traveling all over the United States and watching all sports. She was an avid Packer fan and attended the Ice Bowl.
Survivors include her sister, Marilyn (Arthur) Matuszak and their children Dan (Michelle Eales), Gary (Jill), and Sue Plamann (Phil); brothers, Duane Buechler and his children Sheryl Meyer (Todd) and Steve (fiancée Deb Nellis); and Darell (Barbara) Buechler and their children, Jeff (Lee Carpenter) and Jay (Terri). Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Joanne Buechler.
