Wildenberg, Merin G. Merin G. Wildenberg, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. He was born in Little Chute on March 3, 1926, to Walter and Catherine (Verkuilen) Wildenberg. Merin married Peggy Clark on October 28, 1946. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army Air Corp. and spent one year in Okinawa. He also worked and retired from Appleton Paper, Combined Locks Plant. Merin is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy; six children: Joseph (Leanne) Wildenberg of Little Chute, Michael (Sharon) Wildenberg of Freedom, Susan (Merl) Mantei of Combined Locks, Kater (Steve) Gaffney of Combined Locks, Mark (Nancy) Wildenberg of New London and Carrie Bevers of Kaukauna; one brother and two sisters: Owen Wildenberg, Virginia Smith and Mildred Langedyke; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten brothers and sisters. Private Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the Valley Funeral Home.
