Our family would like to thank the staff of the Renaissance Assisted Living Facility and Asera Hospice Care for the kind attention they gave Owen during his last years of life.

Owen lived well. He loved all and laughed often, He was respected and thought of with affection, He never lacked appreciation for nature's beauty, He always found the best in others and gave his best back, He left this world a better place. May he rest in peace with his beloved wife Joyce and all the other people he loved who went before him.

Our dad gave us the gift of appreciating the natural world. All who knew Owen are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate his life and love of nature at the Bubolz Nature Preserve Auditorium on May 29, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local nature preserve in Owen's memory. - Jan & Jon
