- Delores "Tudy" E. Giebel 82, of Chilton, passed away on June 15, 2015 at Calumet Medical Center. She was born to Herman and Ida (Feidler) Arndt at High Cliff on August 16, 1932.
Tudy worked at Chilton Metal Product and Foley for years until her retirement and enjoyed tending to her gardens of beautiful flowers and vegetables.
Tudy will be missed by her children, Bonita Rowland, Carol (Jim) Schwobe, Jerry (Judie) Giebel, Mary (Scott) Schierl, and Donna (Bill) Zahringer; her grandchildren, Pat (Cindy) Rowland, Kelly (Chad) See, Lisa (Pat) Spaulding, David Schwobe, Tony (Jen) Giebel, Miranda (Jeff) Lorenz, Tony Hintz, Tricia (Mark) Roehrig, Terra Hintz, Tyler (special friend, Becki Lefeber) Giebel, Courtney Schierl, Paige (special friend Troy Gillis) Schierl, Andy (Jennie) Zahringer, and Tracy (Bryan) Hanke; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Connor Rowland, Jon-Luke and James-Lee Spaulding, Ethan and Charlie Lorenz, Olivia and Ava Giebel, Krysta, Emily and Riley Roehrig, Kylie and Kayla Hanke, and Temperance and Daxton Zahringer.
In addition to her parents, Tudy was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal; son-in-law, Robert Rowland; her husband, Slyvester Giebel; special friend, Melvin Heimerman; her brothers, Lester (Magdalen) Arndt, Harry (Alma) Arndt, Clifford (Margaret) Arndt, and Jerry (Barbara) Arndt; and her sister, Dorthy (Gordon) Eldred.
In accordance with Tudy's wishes there will be a private family service at a later date.
Tudy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Chilton Care Center for the care and compassion shown to her.
