Age 80, passed onto his eternal rest on Wednesday, August 5, 1987, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short illness.
He was born July 7, 1907, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Peter and Lucy Rausch.
He married Fern Kramer on December 24, 1934.
He retired from Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company, Kaukauna, in 1969, after working there 42 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and Thilmany Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include two daughters: Nancy Schroeder and her fiancé, Gary Eick, Kaukauna, and Jane Rausch, Kaukauna; two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Betty Rausch, Freedom; Gerald and Lois Rausch, Chilton; 16 grandchildren; and two sisters: Mildred Rausch, and Laurence Rausch, both of Kaukauna.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern; a son, Edward Jr.; his parents and three brothers; Howard, Fred, and Harvey.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 1987 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Rev. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. A parish prayer service will be 8 p.m.
