Edward G. Jansen
Edward G. Jansen, 58, 1921 S. Bouten Street, died at 1 o'clock this morning after a nine months illness. He was born August 13, 1887, at Grand Chute. A former resident of Sherwood, he had lived for a number of years at route 1, Menasha. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Holmes, Santa Rosa, California; Mrs. Roman Pawlowski; and Mrs. John Klim, Menasha; two sons, Private First Class James Jansen, U.S. Marine, Philadelphia; and Clarence M. Jansen, Appleton; three brothers, John, Cronell, Henry, Appleton; and Peter, Little Chute; four sisters, Mrs. Martin Van Hoof; Mrs. Elizabeth Lamers; and Mrs. Henry De Groot, Little Chute; and Mrs. Henry Coonen, Rudolph; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 Friday morning at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Emil Schmit in charge. The cortege will form at 8:45 at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight and Thursday night at the funeral home.
