      Age 33, died Wednesday morning as
      the result of a plane accident. He was
      born April 13, 1943 in Appleton, and
      was an owner of Calmes and Brown
      Mason and General Contractors He
      had lived and worked in this area all
      his life. He was a member of the Little
      Chute American Legion Post No. 258,
      and was a U. S. Army veteran Survivors
      include his wife, Kathleen Graves
      Calmes; his parents, Mr. and Mrs
      Donald Calmes, Cecil, two daughters:
      Michelle and Carrie, three sons.
      LeRoy Jr., Timothy and Michael, all at
      home; seven brothers: James, Jerry
      and Donald Jr., all of Kaukauna; John,
      Kimberly; Henry, Seymour; Robert,
      Green Bay, David, Cecil; five sisters:
      Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Leygraaf, Little
      Chute; Mrs. David (Jean) Van-
      Schyndel, Oneida; Mrs. Ronald (Rose
      Ann) Holewinski, Green Bay; Mrs.
      John (Mary Theresa) Williams, Clovis,
      New Mexico; Miss Patricia, Cecil; his
      grandmother, Mrs. Rose Calmes, Appleton.
      The funeral will be at 11 a.m.
      Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic
      Church, Freedom with the Rev. John
      Feeney officiating. Burial will be in the
      parish cemetery. Friends may call at
      the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna
      after 2 p.m. Friday, where there
      will be a wake service at 7 p.m. and an
      American Legion visitation at 7:30
      p.m.
