      Ebben, Arthur J. (1 MAR 1916 - 30 APR 1935)

      Arthur John Ebben, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ebben, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at Chippewa Falls Tuesday morning, April 30th, 1935, of acute meningitis, caused by pneumoncoccus, aged 19 years, 1 month and 29 days.

      Arthur Ebben was born in Thorp, Clark Co., Wis. on March 1, 1916. All his life has been spent here and he was a student of Thorp High School at the time of his death.

      Those left to mourn his untimely death are the deceased's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ebben, two sisters, Mrs. E. Primeau (Frances) of Arpin, Wis., and Dorothy, at home; five brothers, Delton and Harvey of Thorp, Roy and Leo of Kohler, and Lester of Curtiss, Wis.

      Rev. A.M. Muckerheide conducted funeral services for the deceased at St. Bernard's Church on Friday morning, and interment was made in St. Bernard's Cemetery. The students of the high school attended the services in a body.

      Pallbearers were: Francis Neis, Frank Kosieracki, Cyril Alger, Raymond Schmidt, Claybourne Bogumill and Conrad Wojcik.
