    • Otto William Ecke, 71, 1609 E. Newberry street, died at 9:30 last night at his home after a long illness.

      Born Aug. 13, 1867, in Sheboygan, he lived in Appleton 42 years. He was bridgetender at the John Street Bridge for 15 years. Mr. Ecke was a member of St. Joseph's Church.

      Survivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Deeg, Mrs. Louis Oostvogels, Mrs. Fred Krause, Appleton; Mrs. Albert Bergstresser, Mrs. John Looker, Fremont; two sons, Edward and Franklin, Appleton; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

      The funeral will be held at 8:30 Monday Morning at Wichmann Funeral Home with services at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery chapel. The body will be at the funeral home from this evening t the hour of services. Prayers will be conducted there at 7:30 tonight and Sunday night.
