- Gerard T. Jerry Brouillard, 84, passed away on Jan. 14, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on May 4, 1930, a son of the late Donatien and Bertha (Fontaine) Brouillard. Jerry was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Assumption Church. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1948. He worked as a foreman for Monsanto for over 34 years before he retired. Jerry was a long time member of the Golden Age Harmonicats and belonged to several model air plane clubs. He was an avid golfer and also belonged to a prayer group at the McKinley House in Chicopee. He is predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Zielinski) Brouillard who passed away in 2013. He leaves his son Barry Brouillard and his wife Madeleine of Chicopee; 1 brother Robert Brouillard and his wife Theresa of Chicopee; 1 sister, Doris Labonte of Chicopee and his beloved grandson Cameron. He is predeceased by his brother, Father Donald Brouillard. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. from the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Assumption Church at 11 a.m. followed by burial in St Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prayer Group of the McKinley House, 38 Asinof Ave, Chicopee, MA 01013.
