Mrs. Doris M. (Weyenberg) Vosters, 537 Chicago Ave. died April 6, 1995. Doris was born in Kaukauna Wisconsin November 8, 1893, the daughter of Martin and Hendrina (Jacobs) Weyenberg, and was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral and St. Mary's Catholic and V F W Post #827 Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband George H. Vosters.
Doris is survived by her children and their spouses, Cyril and Jane Vosters, Floyd Vosters and Joan and Robert Peeters, all of Kalamazoo; 18 grandchildren; serveral great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Doris Vosters did push ups into her 80's, mowed her lawn, and painted her house into her 90's, and baked cookies and bread past her 100th birthday. She died Thursday at the age of 101. 'She was a remarkable gal,' said her daughter in-law, Jane Vosters of Kalamazoo.
Born in 1893, she never drove a car but walked nearly every place she needed to go. Even up to her 100th year, she volunteered at Borgess Nursing Home, helping with the daily bingo games for the seniors there. A member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, she also helped patients at the hospital at Fort Custerd according to her son, Cyril. She was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, George, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Cyril and Jane Vosters, Floyd Vosters and Joan and Robert Peeters, all of Kalamazoo, 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
