      Theodore Emmers, 77 years of age, a well known resident of the town of Buchanan for the past twenty-? years, died Friday at St. Elizabeth hospital at Appleton. The deceased was born in Holland and came to the United States with his parents at the age of six months. He was united in marriage with Miss Aleida Huls at St. Francis Catholic church, Hollandtown, on October 5, 1886 and settled on a farm in the town of Buchanan in 1902. Mr. Emmers is survived by his widow, seven children: George, Kaukauna; Henry, Appleton; Mrs. Anton Welhouse, and John and William, Kaukauna; Mrs. Henry Siebers, Little Chute; Miss Catherine Emmers, at home; two sisters, Mrs. John Peters of Brillion and Mrs. William Peters of Chili; one brother, John Emmers of Kaukauna. Funeral services were held on Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church here, with Rev. Conrad Ripp in charge of the requiem high mass. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery.
