Memorial services for Albert Bloy, 90, of Loyal, were held from the Loyal United Methodist Church on Friday, November 6, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Conrad Mikelson officiating. Mr. Bloy died November 4 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Byron Zepplin, in Loyal. Burial was made at the Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Mr. Bloy was born March 15, 1880, in Calumet County, and received his education at Chilton High School. He was married to the former Esther Grambach in Marshfield in 1920. She preceded him in death. Mr. Bloy, who was a cheesemaker in Loyal, Marshfield and DePere, retired in DePere in 1947, and moved to Oshkosh in 12952. He came to Loyal about three years ago, where he was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three children: Mrs. Byron (Ruth) Zepplin of Loyal, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) McCormick of Fond du Lac, and Dr. James A. Bloy of Maryville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

The congregation sang “A Mighty Fortress is Our God,” and “Now Thank we all Our God,” accompanied by Dr. Bloy at the organ.
