    • Catherine Chosa Appleton Age 94, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001, in Appleton. She was born December 15, 1906, daughter of August and Catherine (Spohn) Pahl. Catherine was united in marriage to Milton Chosa in 1931. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1971. She is survived by a son, Jerome (Kathy), Menasha; a granddaughter, Jo Ann Rice (Jerry), Alabama; grandson, Jerome Jr. (Lisa), Appleton; three great- grandchildren; a sister, Caroline (Pahl) Seggeling, Neenah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Lillian Kellerman, De Pere. She was preceded in death by brothers Benjamin and Frank Pahl. A private funeral was held and burial was held at Kelso Cemetery. Catherine was known for her crochet and music talent. She supplied many with baby booties of many kinds through the years. She had many close friends who visited her regularly which she enjoyed. A special thank you to Herbert and Marie Powell for their devotion to Catherine and all the things they did out of the goodness of their hearts throughout the years. It was greatly appreciated.
