- Mackenzie Joyce Broehm, 2 weeks, of Appleton, received her angel wings on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Children's Hospital in Neenah.
Mackenzie is survived by her loving parents Travis and Brittany (Gietman) Broehm; by her grandparents; Scott (Tina) Broehm and William (Theresa) Gietman, by great grandparents; Gloria Krueger , Harland Broehm, Fran Matson, Richard (Val) Davis and Bert (Karen) Gietman, and by uncles and aunts; Adam (Kay) Broehm, Ashley (Justin) Broehm, and Nicholas Gietman. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Merlin Krueger, Diane Broehm, and Gerald Matson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 12:00 NOON at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, with Pastor Doug Holtz officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 NOON at the FUNERAL HOME.
They family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at the Neonatal Unit at Children's Hospital for all their care, comfort and support over the past weeks.
