    • Clayton E. Abts Sr. passed away Sept 17, 2014. He died peacefully in his Florida home his loving wife at his bedside.

      He was born in Green bay Feb. 2, 1937, to the late Julian and Valentine Plumbroeck Abts.

      Clayton married his loving wife Shirley, Oct. 4, 2003, in the beautiful back yard of his son, Keith and Karels home with family.

      He worked for Tosca Limited for many years; he retired at the age of 63 with a retirement golf trip with his son, Clayton Jr, to Scotland The gift of a lifetime. Thanks To Jere Dhein and John Frey.

      He enjoyed all sports his passion was golfing at Royal Scott Supper Club with his sons and daughter and many friends. He was a Packer fan, traveling to the out of town Packer games with his wife, Shirley and friends. Clayton was a devoted and loving husband, father of his children and grandchildren. Sons, Lance (Dina) Abts, Clayton Jr (Stephanie) Abts and Keith (Karel) Abts, daughter, Laura (Frank) Paulette; grandchildren, Elizabeth Abts, Lauren Abts, Tierney Abts, Taylor Abts, Jon Peters, Kyle Peters, Lindsey Paulette and Carissa Paulette. Preceded in death, brothers, Norman, Bob, John, and Jules, sisters, Leona Kaster, Marie Dollar and Dorothy Abts, mother of his children Linda Abts, brothers-in-law, Sy Kaster, Chet Dollar and Tony Beyer, sister-in-law, Rita Abts.

      Clayton is survived by his wife, Shirley, sisters, Beverly(Al) Schott, Betty Beyer and Rosemary (Bud) Brosing, brother, Ralph (Ann) Abts, sisters-in-law, Ruth Abts, Carol Abts, Joyce Abts, Marge Dollar, Carol Larson and Family.

      Clayton was a kind and gentle man whose broad smile lit up a room. He will be remembered by his family and many friends.

      The family would like to thank the bronze team of the Suncoast Hospice for their compassion and support.

      A celebration of his life will be held for friends and family on Oct. 25, at Royal Scott from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
