| Photos | Marlene B. Gensler September 8, 1935 — February 28, 2024 Marlene Gensler passed away on February 28, 2024. She was born on September 8, 1935, daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Trettin) Sasnowski. Marlene married Raymond Gensler on August 30, 1952. She was licensed as a real estate broker and was very active in the VFW Auxiliary at the Arthur Gensler VFW #664 in Clintonville. Marlene and Raymond enjoyed traveling together to his USS Ommaney Bay reunions and going up north to Three Lakes. Marlene is survived by many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends; and caregivers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gensler; brother, Edward (Judith) Sasnowski; sister, Dolores (George) Stoop; brother-in-law, Harold Gensler; and sister-in-law, Shirley Gensler. Funeral services for Marlene will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 7, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The burial will be held the same day at 1:30 PM at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers that helped take care of Marlene over the years. |
