- Stuyvenberg, Warren J. Kimberly
Age 83, passed away peacefully Friday January 30, 2004 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Warren was born January 10, 1921 in Kimberly and resided in Kimberly all of his life. He was the last living child of the eleven children born to the late Henry and Clara (Juse) Stuyvenberg. Warren was employed by Kimberly-Clark at the Kimberly Mill retiring after many years of service. He will be remembered for his love of gardening, photography, the Chicago Cubs, and being an avid Packer fan. Warren had a special love for local teams and even though he did not have children of his own, he was always there to support Kimberly at sporting events. Warren was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army Medical Corps in Europe. He was a member of American Legion Post # 60 of Kimberly. Survivors include two sisters-in-law Tillie Stuyvenberg of Appleton and Bernice Stuyvenberg of Kimberly; nieces and nephews Patricia Stuyvenberg of Kimberly, Richard M. (Carol) Stuyvenberg of Darboy, Jack H. (Peggy) Stuyvenberg of Darboy and (their children Katie, Abbey, and Molly), Robert Behling of Darboy and his special friend Patricia Rauch, Richard and Patti Fird of Greendale and (their children Rick Fird and Jennifer (Rob) Schuster), and Carol Sue Stuyvenberg and Keith Stuyvenberg both of Appleton. In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by four brothers Raymond, Adrian (Rose), Richard, and Julius Stuyvenberg; six sisters Ivy (Leonard) Fird, Gertrude (Vic) Wiedenhaupt, Pearl (Walter) Hein, Lorretta (Val) Kern, Agnes (William) Harke, and Rosella (Fred) Behling. A memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday, February 7th at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond St., with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating followed by full military honors. Friends may call directly at the cemetery chapel from 10AM Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
