Mrs. Donald Stuyvanberg [Dorothy Hopfensperger] 231 Ryan St., Kaukauna, age 63, died Tuesday August 9, 1988, at the Medical Center after a short illness. She was born February 15, 1925, in the Town of Buchanan, the daughter of the late Charles and Ann [Weyenberg] Hopfensperger. She lived all of her life in the Kaukauna area and was united in marriage to Donald Stuyvenberg October 17, 1946, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, and the outdoors.
Survivors besides her husband Donald are; a son and daughter in-law, William and Tina Stuyvenberg, Little Chute; three daughters and two sons in-law; Miss Sally Kaney, Mesa, Arizona; Sandra and Dan Van Gompel, Scottsdale, Arizona; Cindy and Dan Haen, Kaukauna; seven grandchildren; two brothers and sisters in-law; Melvin and Connie Hopfensperger, Little Chute; Irvin and Bee Hopfensperger, Kaukauna; two sisters and brothers in-law, Dolores and Vance Garvey, Freedom; Bernice and Don Van Abel, Hollandtown.
The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Rev. Robert Vandenberg officiating, Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwwod Fargo Funeral Home, 500 Hendricks Ave., Kaukauna, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and after 8:30 a.m. on Friday, until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
