      Formerly of Kaukauna, age 61, died on October 30, 1987 at an Antigo hospital. He was born August 20, 1926 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Andrew and Angeline (Bowers) Bodde. He lived in Kaukauna for many years and was an employee of Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for 17 years. He moved to Townsend in 1971 where he was a courier for the Nicolet Medical Clinic, Lakewood. He was a World War II veteran. He was married to Betty VanderPutten on May 31, 1947. Survivors include his wife; two daughters: Mrs. Patrick (Lin) Setter, Tahoe City, California; Mrs. Jim (Lori) Larson, Rhinelander; a son, Jeff (Odette) Bodde, Nevada City, California; two sisters: Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Ann) Wallace, Kaukauna; Mrs. Bill (Rita) VanLinn, Menasha; three brothers: Robert (Rita), Milwaukee; Charles (Frieda), Kaukauna; Jack (Ruth), Appleton; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Michelle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3 from the Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday (today) and from 8 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of services.
