      Blanche Kortz Jeske 103 E. Washington St. Conway Building Appleton

      Age 71, passed away Saturday 26, 1987. She was born July 13, 1916 in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Matt and Kate [Vosters] Verkuilen. Blanche was self employed as an interior decorator and also operated Blanche's Bar in Little Chute.

      Survivors include a daughter and son in-law, Dolores and Gary Glaser, Town of Vandenbroek; two sons and daughters in-law, Carl and Jean Kortz, Little Chute; Ted W. and Donna Kortz, Appleton; two brothers and a sister in-law, Tony and Verona Verkuilen, Pickerel; Alvin Verkuilen, Winneconne; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.

      She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 29, 1987 at Greenwood-Fargo Funeral Home, 500 Hendricks Ave., Kaukauna, with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood-Fargo Funeral from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
