- Janice M. Spaulding, Appleton, (formerly of Little Chute) age 69, died Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born in Little Chute on December 17, 1946 to the late Joseph and Jeanette (De Bruin) Wildenberg. Jan worked as a pediatric nurse for Affinity Health System. She enjoyed knitting, was an avid Packer fan and was involved with the Girl Scouts. Janice was the vice president of the Ridgeview Highlands Community Social Club. She loved her family and her cat, Cinders, and treasured the time she spent with them.
Jan is survived by her children: Pat (Lisa), Paul (Cathy), Joe (Deana) and Jean (James) Bremer, all of Appleton; grandchildren: Pierce, Jon-Luke, James-Lee and Jordan; siblings: Catherine Van Gompel, Henry (Theresa) Wildenberg and Pat (Mary) Wildenberg; and sister-in-law: Betty Moore. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her infant siblings: Janet (her twin sister) and twins Kevin and Carol; brother-in-law, Jim Van Gompel; and nephew, Carl Van Gompel.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 21, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday, January 22, 2016 at ST. PIUS PARISH (500 W. Marquette St. Appleton) from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Thomas Farrell will officiate and Rev. Donald Zuleger will concelebrate.
