- Miss Florence L. Merline 85, Oconto resident,died unexpectedly
Thursday afternoon,August 29,1996 at Community Memorial
Hospital,Oconto Falls.
Florence was born August 2,1911 in Oconto to the late Howard
and Jane [Desjarlais] Merline. She had lived in Milwaukee,WI
much of her life,having moved there at age 16.She was employed
as a secretary at Harnischfager Corporation until retirement.
She moved back to Oconto 3 years ago.Florence was a member of
Holy Trinity Parish,Oconto.
Surviving are a sister Melba Lince of Oconto;one brother
Sylvester of Camp Douglas,one sister-in-law,Joan Merline of
Oconto;nieces and nephews.
Florence was preceded in death by one brother Howard;one sister-in-law,Rosemary,and a brother-in-law,Clare.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home 121 Congress
Street,Oconto.Mass of Resurrection was conducted Saturday August 31,1996 at Holy Trinity Parish,Saint Joseph's site.
The Rev. Terry LaCombe officiated. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
