    • Mrs. Jane E. Merline,92, 214 Jefferson Street,Oconto,died Monday October 11,at a Menominee Falls hospital following
      a short illness.
      The former Jane Des Jarlais was born February 10,1890 in Oconto,WI.She married Howard S. Merline on May 10,1910 at West Allis,WI. He preceded her in death in January 1977.
      She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
      Survivors include two daughters,Miss Florence Merline of
      Milwaukee and Mrs.Melba Lince of Pewaukee,WI;two sons,Howard
      A. Merline of Oconto and Sylvester Merline of Camp Douglas;one sister Mrs.Marie Merline of Oconto,and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.She was preceded
      in death by two sisters and three brothers.
      Visitation was held at the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home.
      Funeral services were held Thursday at Saint Joseph Catholic
      Church with the Rev.Martin Fox officiating.Burial was in the Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
