Schaumberg, Maynard R.
Maynard R. Schaumberg, 77, Seymour, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 9, 2008, at a Green Bay hospital. He was born April 9, 1930, son of the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg. On Nov. 30, 1957, he was united in marriage to Elaine Smith. They celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Maynard farmed his entire life and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Brotherhood in Seymour. He retired from the Osborn Volunteer Fire Department after over 30 years of service. Maynard enjoyed playing cards, attending auctions and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; his children, Glen (Kate) Schaumberg, Jolene VandeVoort, Pam (Brent) Hoppe, Mary Schaumberg and Kim (Mark) Krahn; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Beatrice Murphy, Appleton; Florence Rusch, Bernice Riehl, Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher and Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg, all of Seymour; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Fay Ann; a son-in-law, Mark; and three sisters, Vivian, Margaret and Marie.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2008, and Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Seymour from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
