  • Notes
    • Word was received from Milwaukee by relatives in Charlestown that Miss Katherine Woelfel, who was a patient at Trinity hospital, died on Wednesday morning. Miss Woelfel had been in poor health for several months and on March 29th was taken to Trinity hospital, where she underwent an operation the following day. For four or five days following the operation she seemed to improve, but a change came for the worse and she failed until death came.

The remains were brought to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Woelfel, by her brother, Robert, who was with her when she died. Miss Woelfel was born in Charlestown and at the time of her death was forty-six years and six months old. She had always remained to home with her parents and was held in high esteem by those who knew her.

The funeral will take place Monday from St. Martin's church. She is survived by her aged parents, four brothers and four sisters.
