      Mrs. Joseph H. Wydeven Ann Kilsdonk Franciscan Care Center

      Age 92, died Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at Franciscan Care Center, Appleton. She was born on May 10, 1907 in Little Chute the daughter of Albert and Anna [Vosters] Kilsdonk. On September 12, 1933, she married Joseph Wydeven and soon after they moved to Appleton. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, the Ladies of St. Joseph and the Third Order. She had been a member of the St. Joseph Eucharistic Mission Band for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Court # 182 of the National Catholic Society of Foresters, and had been the recording secretary for 45 years, retiring in 1984. She had been a member of the Onieda Heights Tenant Council for over ten years. She was an avid sheephead player. Other hobbies included crocheting and together crafts.

      She is survived by a daughter, Sister Jodene [Dolore] Wydeven, Hilbert; two sons, Valerian D. [Ann Celine] Wydeven, MaComb, Michigan; and Joseph Jude [Alice] Wydeven, Papillion, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Rachel Wydeven, Lawrence, Kansas; Eric [Anna] Wydeven, Austin, Texas; Joseph [Kate] Wydeven, Auburn Hills, Michigan; Grace Ann Wydeven, Washington DC; Matthew Wydeven, Troy, Michigan; two step grandchildren, Beth Dodd [Gregory Smith] and Amy Reichert, Villa Park, Illinois; two step great grandchildren, William and Ross Reichert; one brother in-law, George Wydeven; a very special niece, Rosella Knight; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Jean O'Brien and her two daughters, Katie and Mary Beth, who adopted the Wydevens as their grandparents.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 58 years, Joseph, who died July 1991; one daughter, Joanne who died at birth in 1938; and six brothers, Martin, Francis, Henry and Wilbert, and Willie and Joseph in infancy.

      A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 W. Lawrence St. with the Rev. John Holly OFM Cap. officiating. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wichmann Funeral Home 537 N. Superior St. where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials can be made to Franciscan Care Center.
