  APPLETON POST CRESCENT Wednesday, June 13, 1973 Mrs. Richard [Anna] Lamers 201 W. 8th St. Kaukauna Age 81, passed away early Wednesday after a 6 week illness. She was born December 28, 1891 at Wrightstown and farmed in the Town of Buchanan for many years and had been a Kaukauna resident since 1957. She was a member of St. Mary Christian Mothers, Kaukauna Golden Agers, the Wrightstown Catholic Knights and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Robert [Ruby] Turriff, DePere; Mrs. Ves [Jane] Vosters, Mrs. Gordon [Emily] Vanderwyst, both of Appleton; Mrs. Jerry [Mary] Nackers and Mrs. Robert [Frances] Haen, both of Kaukauna; Mrs. Francis [Rose] Schmidt, Brillion; five sons, Gordon, Gene and Paul all of Kaukauna; Lyle, DePere; Marcel, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Verbeten, Kimberly; and Mrs. Alvira McDaniel, Kaukauna; a brother, Howard Verbeten, Kaukauna; two step brothers, Arnold Verbeten, Wrightstown; Harold, Crivitz; two step sisters, Mrs. George [Marie] Lamers, Kaukauna; Mrs. Herman [Kate] Klister, Wrightstown; 76 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Kaukauna with interment in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 3 p.m. on Thursday and there will be a rosary at 7 p.m. and prayer service at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
