    • Norman F. Eickert, age 71, of Brillion, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 8, 1943 in Green Bay, son of the late Norman Eickert Sr. and Mellan (Boettcher) Eickert. Norman married Patricia Dix on June 13, 1964 in Hilbert. He farmed the family homestead in the Town of Rantoul his entire life and also worked at the Ariens Company in Brillion for 5 years. He loved John Deere tractors and hunting, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion and the Calumet County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife Pat, his children, Dan (Shelley) Eickert and Kim Eickert, grandchildren Derrick and Kalyie Eickert and Jaxon Lisowe, his mother-in-law Helen Dix, brothers and sisters; Donald (Carol) Eickert, Gloria (Jerome) Schmahl, James (Judy) Eickert, Mary Eickert, Lois Cmejla, Keith Eickert, Terry (Lydia) Eickert, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken Dix, Jerry Dix, Gale Dix, Terry (Connie) Dix and numerous nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne, brothers-in-law Mike Cmejla and Robert Dix, sisters-in-law Judy Dix and Nancy Dix. Funeral service will be held on Friday January 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Online condolences may be made.
