      Kocken, Mrs. Albert (Marlene)
      Mrs. Albert (Marlene) Kocken, 83, De Pere, passed away Tuesday morning, May 20, 2008. The daughter of the late Albert and Eva Vanden Heuvel was born Feb. 28, 1925, in De Pere. She married Albert Kocken at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van's Valley. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2006. Marlene enjoyed quilting, knitting, cooking, playing cards, and traveling. Marlene was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
      Her family includes children, Tony (Susan) Kocken, Brussels; Glen (Paula) Kocken, De Pere; Joan (Arnold) Roemaat, De Pere; Dennis (Peggy) Kocken, Suamico; Jeff (Chris) Kocken, Howard; and Frank (Cindy) Kocken, Greenleaf; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Ethel Mooren, and Bernice (Gordon) Trinkner; as well as Albert's family, Helen Van Noie, Marie (Clarence) Van Den Elzen, Eunice Kocken, Caroline Kocken, and John (Ann) Kocken; as well as many nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ray Vanden Heuvel, Irvin (Johanna) Vanden Heuvel; and her brother-in-law, Joe Mooren; as well as members of Albert's family.
      Friends may call on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Suburban Drive at Lourdes Avenue, De Pere from 3 to 5:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church at 6 p.m. Thursday with Father Tim Shillcox, O.
