    • Roehrborn, Ila (VanAsten) Appleton Post Crescent dated 1/7/1995; Mrs. Don Roehrborn, Ila VanAsten, age 61, died Friday, January 6th, 1995, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 16th, 1933 in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Verhagen) VanAsten. Ila married Don Roehrborn, November 3rd, 1951 in the Fort Hood, Texas. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who doted over her family. She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic church. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don and her 10 children: Donna and Butch Lom, Freedom; Sherri McCormick and a special friend Bruce Brunner, of Appleton; Vicki and Pete Moreno, of Freedom; Margo and Doug Hietpas, of Freedom; Kurt and Marie Roehrborn, of Holland town; Tanya and Tim Haring, of Kaukauna; Maureen and Victor Tepiew, of Texas; Pauline and Ross Grode, of Appleton; Marci Roehrborn and Kelli Roehrborn, both at home; 26 grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters in law: Carl and Donna VanAsten, of Kaukauna; Floyd and Irene VanAsten, of Little Chute; Art and Jan VanAsten, of Darboy; Gene and Marge VanAsten, of Little Chute; Pat VanAsten, of Kaukauna; five sisters and four brothers in law: Millie and Robert Bachmann, of Appleton; Marion dufrane, of Little Chute; Lil and Ed VanHeuklon, of Kimberly; Marge and Ed Belongea, of Kimberly; Carol and Gene Diedrick, of Combined Locks. She is further survived by her husband's two sisters and a brother: Virginia Sager, of Green Bay; Audrey (Robert) VanHeeswyk, of Combined Locks; Milford (Lilas) Roehrborn, of Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by a beloved son, Terry, her father and mother in law, Walter and Emma Roehrborn, a brother, Robert, a sister, Rita VanAsten, two brothers in law: Larry Dufrane and Gary (Maribeth) Roehrborn. The funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Holland town with Father William Rickert officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo a funeral home from 4 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. on Monday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish of prayer service at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Special thanks to Fr. Ken Frozena, Fr.
