      Age 83, died on Friday morning, December 14, 2001 in Anderson, South Carolina following a brief illness. He was born on February 6, 1918 in Shiocton, the son of Leonard and Wilma (Williams) Jarchow. In 1938 he was united in marriage to Beulah Lamb and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage. Clarence retired at the age of 57 from Consolidated Freightways Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Jarchow; four sons and daughters-in-law: Donald (Janet), Cecil; Robert (Patricia), New London; Dennis (Emily), Stevens Point; Jack (Ginny), Bonduel; four daughters and sons-in-law; Audrey (David) Olesen, San Angelo, Texas; Sandra (Don) Schucknecht, Hortonville, Sherry (Dennis) Strack, Honea Path, South Carolina; Bonnie (Mike) Krueger, New London, 34 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. He is further survived by a sister, Bernice Thayer, New London; four half-brothers, Herb Komatz and Roy Komatz, both of Wisconsin Rapids; Raymond Komatz, Waupaca; and Fred Komatz, New Jersey. Preceding him in death were his parents, a granddaughter, a half sister, and two half brothers.
      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Pastor Loren Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Bovina Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
