Richard J. Vander Heiden Rt. 3, Kaukauna
Age 63, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning on his sons farm in the Town of Kaukauna. He was born August 29, 1916 in the Town of Kaukauna. He attended St. Pauls Catholic Grade School at Wrightstown. He married the former Anna Joosten at Little Chute in 1943 and the couple farmed at Rt. 3, Kaukauna. He was the assessor for the Town of Kaukauna, a director of the Farm Bureau, amember of the Wrightstown Gloden Agers Club, Knights of Columbus of Kaukauna, St. Paul Holy Name Society, an usher at St. Paul Church, and a member of the St. Patrick Cemetery Board.
He is survived by his wife; four sons; Richard, De Pere; Steve and Bernard, Kaukauna; and Tom, at home; four daughters; Mrs. Mick [Rita[ Mollen, Little Chute; Mrs. David [Cathy] Van Enkevort, De Pere; Mrs. Larry [Pat] Schmidt, Combined Locks; and Mrs. Jay [Jean] Zahn, New Franken; three brothers, Ed, De Pere; Ray, Neenah; and Leo, Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. Kerby [Catherine] Kirtz, Kaukauna; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Shafer officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the DeWayne Funeral Home in Wrightstown after 3 p.m. Monday. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
