      A memorial service for Josephine Ann Sievers of McMinnville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Michelbook Country Club, McMinnville.

      Mrs. Sievers died Sept. 5, 2003, in Hopewell House Hospice, Portland. She was 65.

      She was born Jan. 18, 1938, in Clintonville, Wis., the daughter of Jim and Alvena Dreissen. Raised and educated in Clintonville, she graduated from Clintonville High School.

      She and George Sievers were married in 1956 in Clintonville.

      She lived in Lake Oswego from 1973 to 1979, then moved to Seattle. She had lived in McMinnville since 1998.

      Mrs. Sievers belonged to the 9-hole and 18-hole groups at Michelbook Country Club, McMinnville. She loved playing bridge and working crossword puzzles.

      Survivors include her husband of McMinnville; two daughters, Kathy Ralston of Lake Oswego and Lisa Wetzel of Portland; a son, Tim Sievers of Vancouver, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
