      Anna Wittmann Birling (Anna Mader), 89, Darboy died Thursday September 20, 1990 at her home. Born September 20, 1900 in Darboy to the late George & Anna (Probst) Mader. She married Hugo Wittmann in November of 1926. She married Henry Birling in October of 1962. Survived by a son Hugo (Jill) Wittmann; 3 daughters Lois Wittmann, Celine (William H) Romenesko, & Betty (Ted) Van Thiel; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother; 4 stepchildren; 45 step-grandchildren; 116 step-greatgrandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1st husband Hugo Wittmann in September of 1944; her 2nd husband Henry Birling in May of 1977; an infant daughter Dorothy; a great-granddaughter Jennie Van Thiel; a daughter-in-law Macky Wittmann; 7 brothers Bill, George, Rich, Joe, Steve, Edward, & Leo; 2 sisters Mary Ann & Clara. Funeral was Saturday, September 22, 1990 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Burial in parish cemetery. Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home is assisting the family.
