    • SOURCE: APPLETON POST CRESCENT OBITUARY Wednesday, December 23, 1881 Bernard W. De Bruin Route 2, Hample Rd. Black Creek
      Age 65, died Thursday afternoon following a lingering illness. He was born November 21, 1916 in the Town of Vanden Broek, Mr. De Bruin farmed in the Black Creek area most of his life and was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, Mackville. He married the fromer Margaret Hopfensberger in 1940.
      Survivors include his wife; two sons; Wayne and Marvin, both of Black Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis [Carol] Lemke, Shiocton; six grandchildren; three brothers; Anton, Little Chute; Urban, Kimberly; Quintin, Appleton; and three sisters; Mrs. Urban [Betty] Nelessen, Mrs. Benedict [Jeanette] Hoersch, both of Kaukauna; and Mrs. Clarence[Cecelia] Nelessen, Little Chute.
      The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edwards Catholic Church of Mackville, with Father Le Roy Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Valley Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 until 9 p.m. and at the church, Thursday from 10;30 a.m. until the time of service. Scripture will be prayed Wednesday [today] at 8 p.m.
