formerly of Kaukauna
Age 90, away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003 at a local nursing home.
Lorraine was born on Oct. 16, 1913 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to the late Antone and Johannah (Hopfensperger) Marx. She worked as a sales clerk for many years at Montgomery Ward until she retired. She was a member for many years at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Lorraine loved baseball, especially the Braves; Badger Football, fishing, dancing and spending her time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Lolly (John) OLeary, Green Bay; her grandchildren: Timothy R. Frank, Orlando, FL; Tammy L. Frank and Kimberly Christensen; Trenie L. Frank and Wesley Miller, all of Green Bay; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Austin; three brothers: Isadore (Bernice) Marx, Menasha; Clarence (Dorothy) Marx, Freedom; Edward (Alice) Marx, Menasha; further survived by three step children, Lloyd, Dennis and LaVerne.
She was preceded in death by her son, George Van Enbergen; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Janet (Raymond) Fischer; Isabelle (Cornelius) Van Boxtel; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Marx.
The family will receive friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard-Suamico Location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, for a memorial visitation on Saturday Nov. 1, from 9 am until the time of the service. Memorial service 10:30 am Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Andrew J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director.
