    • According to Albert DeBruin, borther of Nellie, who went to Canada for the funeral, Nellie died in childbirth. Twin boys died at birth. All three were placed in the same casket. The DeBruins wanted Nellie buried on the family plat in Little Chute, but this was war time and Nellie also had the flu, so she was not allowed to be shipped out of the country.
