Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church (108 S. 6th St.) in Hilbert. Burial will follow in the St. Mary CAngeline M. Dedering, age 103, of Chilton, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her home in Chilton. She was born December 21, 1914 in LeRoy, daughter of the late Raymond “Ray” & Lucy (Bauer) Youngbeck. Angeline married Alfred Dedering; he preceded her in death on May 22, 1982.

Angeline was a hard worker who didn’t let grass grow under her feet. She worked as a waitress at the Altona Supper Club in New Holstein for 30 years. She and Alfred also kept their roots deep in New Holstein owning the local hardware and sporting goods store and the Triangle Bar. Most of her working career was spent creating works of art at Nolan’s Floral Shop and Schumacher’s Floral in Chilton. Even up until recently, Angeline would use her hands to create beautiful flower arrangements for special occasions of those she loved.

Her involvement in the community was strong; she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was an honorary lifetime member of the Kiwanis Club in Chilton.

Angeline frequently enjoyed hopping on the Bingo Bus to play that most beloved game of hers until she was 100 years old. Just a month ago, she took her final trip to play Bingo with her great grandchildren. She also had a passion for adventure never passing up an opportunity to cruise around on an ATV or even bound upon the back of a motorcycle for a ride through town.

Angeline’s great sense of humor and quick one liners will be truly missed. This gentle spirit was someone who always gave of herself in order to make other’s lives brighter and she has certainly left this world a better place.

Survivors include her son: Tom (Johnna) Dedering; a son-in-law: John Mueller; grandchildren: Thomas Adam Dedering, Matthew (Tiffany) Dedering, Lisa (Bill) Siegwarth, Lynda (Scott) Nadler, Laura (Tim) Lund, Eric (Patti) Mueller; great grandchildren: Aiden Dedering, Madyson Dedering, Simon Dedering, Crystal (Mike) Phalen, Jamie Siegwarth, Travis Siegwarth & Fiancée Jessica Ecker, Nicole Nadler & Fiancé Peter McHugh, Kelsey Nadler & Fiancé Steven Hoerth, Ariel Lund and Sp.
