- Mrs. John Bies, 65, of Memorial Drive, died suddenly of a heart attack at the home Thursday evening.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. F. C. St. Clair will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born Mary Dassey in Menominee, Mich., in 1887 and in 1924 was married to John Bies. They located in Manitowoc.
Survivors are the husband; brother, Frank of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Cambray of Marinette, Mrs. Josephine Novacic, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Frank Holsen of Rte. 2, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after Sunday noon.
