William Abendroth
William Abendroth, 69, 1335 W. Pine street, died about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a 2-year illness.
Born in Grand Chute July 18, 1875, he lived in Appleton and vicinity all his life. He was employed by the Kimberly-Clark corporation for 38 years and he retired 2 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name society and St. Joseph's church.
survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Eulalia Foster, Menasha; a step-daughter, Mrs. Floyd Prasher, Appleton; a son, Orville, Appleton; two step-sons, Floyd Wolters, Appleton and Urban Wolters, Chicago; three brothers, John and Edward Abendroth, Grand Chute, and George Abendroth, Greenville, and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Joseph's church, the cortege forming at 8:30 at the Wichmann Funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home from 7 o'clock tonight until the hour of services. Prayers will be said at 7:30 tonight and Thursday evening.
