    • Ruth Johnson of Keota, Oklahoma was born January 4, 1922 in Kibler, Arkansas to Lee and Bessie (Vanderhyden) Dewitt and passed away February 15, 2009 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 87. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Johnson; her parents, Lee and Bessie Dewitt; one son, Harold Wayne Byrd; one granddaughter, Devin Drummonds; one grandson, Ronald Byrd; two brothers, Carroll Dewitt and Cleo Dewitt; and one sister, Hazel Livingston. Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Mallory Martin Chapel in Stigler with interment at Old Cache Cemetery.
