Age 43, passed away Sunday at his home from a sudden heart attack. He was born August 19, 1920 in Appleton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Beschta. He resided in Waupaca, Kaukauna, Sun Prairie and Superior before moving to Sturgeon Bay. He was a trustee of Bay View Lutheran Church and the vice-president of the Sturgeon Bay Kiwanis Club. He was plant manager of the Wisconsin Telephone Company in Sturgeon Bay at the time of his death. He served 4 years with the Navy during World War II. On November 20, 1946 he married Delores Turecek at Birnamwood, Wis. Mr. Beschta is survived by his wife; one son, Richard, age 15; one daughter, Diane, age 11, both at home; his father, Ben Beschta, Appleton; five brothers, Vincent, Watertown; Carl, Stanley, Gene and Gerald, all of Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Bernard Vanden Bogart, Kimberly; Mrs. Gene Gruentzel, Appleton; Mrs. Richard Brouillard, Combined Locks. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bay View Lutheran Church with Rev. Myron Medin officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg, Wis. Friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay.
