Notes - Orrin F. Prindle, Jr. age 84, of Winchester, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at home. He was born June 18, 1930, in Neenah to Orrin, Sr. and Martha (Schreiber) Prindle. Orrin was a graduate of Neenah High School. On October 20, 1951, he married Beverly Peterson at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah, and they lived most of their married lifetime in the town of Clayton. For many years Orrin worked as a self-employed electrician. He had been a scout leader, and had volunteered at Rawhide Boys Ranch. Orrin was an avid hunter and fisherman, teaching his grandkids how to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed sturgeon spearing, making maple syrup, and after retirement he learned the trade of gunsmithing. Orrin designed the large frying pan now used at Breakfast on the Farm. He was a long time gun club member and he and Bev were charter members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah.Orrin is survived by four children, Ruth (Don) Missall, Susan Van de Ven, Jeff (Joanne) Prindle, and Laura (Martin) Whitmore; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Corliss (Diana) Prindle, Robert (Alice) Prindle; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marlyn (Vera) Henschel, Kay Peterson, Evie Peterson, Karen Angell, and Bonnie Peterson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Preceding Orrin in death were his parents; his wife, Beverly, on February 19, 2014; and two brothers-in-law, Gene and David Peterson.A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be in the Clayton Cemetery.
