    • ALBANY, GA. - Robert Carl 'Bob' Wettengel, 67, died Monday, September 12, 2011, at his residence. A native of Clintonville, Mr. Wettengel had resided in Albany, Ga. since 1985, moving from Racine to work for Coats North America as their Information Technology Manager. He was a graduate of Mayville High School and the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army Artillery and Missile Division. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wood Wettengel of Albany, Ga.; three daughters, Heidi Hansen and her husband, Todd of Racine, Tricia Crawford of Racine, and Amy Pate and her husband, Byron of Alpharetta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Zach Hansen and Alex Hansen, Jackson Pate and Ava Pate; a sister, Carol Davidson and her husband, Doug of Kiel; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Olds officiated. A Commital service will be conducted in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Mark Jones officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Albany Community Hospice, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, Ga. 31707; or the Albany Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1436, Albany, Ga. 31702.
