    • Roy "Pud" Ambrosius, 79, of De Pere, went to his Heavenly Home following a short battle with cancer on Thursday May 19, 2016. The son of the late William and Marie (Hartjes) Ambrosius was born August 1, 1936 in De Pere. He attended Nicolet High School. Pud married Beatrice "Bea" Miller Treichel on December 30, 2000. He had served for twelve years in the National Guard Reserves.

Pud was a self-employed contractor since 1973. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and gardening. At the end of the day, he enjoyed a good steak and a great old fashioned. Pud enjoyed watching all sporting events, especially those which involved his children and grandchildren. During the course of his life, he shared many of his talents and treasures, like his venison stew, Christmas cookies and salsa. Most of all, he cherished his time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Bea, three children, Bradley (Peggy) Ambrosius, Brenda (John) Roach, and Bethann (Rob) Foytik, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his step children, Lois (Dale) Van Beek, Lisa (Brian) Johnson. Siblings Callista (Richard) Buntman, Jack (Pat) Ambrosius, Bill (Jo) Ambrosius, Rose Marie (Gary) Pollatz, one brother-in-law Jerry Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Lucina Richardson, and Elaine Nick Webb.
