- Paul H. Zirbel, 66, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning while driving his automobile into the village.
Mr. Zirbel had just emerged from the driveway and turned right into the road when at attack occurred. The vehicle continued in a circular past to the right and careened into a snowbank at the edge of the road. The odd movement of the car was noticed from the house, investigation disclosing the instant death of the driver.
Though still operating his farm, Mr. Zirbels health had been noticeably impaired since failing from a farm implement a number of years ago.
He was born June 2, 1881, on a farm in the town of Wrightstown. He came to Forest Junction as a young man and married Mrs. Augusta Jaensch Stanelle Dec. 24, 1906. He had engaged in farming since.
Surviving are a son, Aberhardt, and a daughter, Margaret, both of here; three grandchildren; a brother, Frank of here, and a half brother, Albert Timm, of Wrightstown. Mrs. Zirbel preceded him in death in 1941.
The body lay in state at the Luecker Funeral home at Brillion Thursday morning when it was removed to Evangelical United Brethren church with burial in the church cemetery.
