- CHURCH RITE SLATED FOR MRS. SCHMITZ
Mrs. Frank Schmitz, 80, formerly of 140 E. Arndt St. and a resident of Rolling Meadows for the last year and a half, died this morning at St. Agnes Hospital.
The former Catherine Gilsdorf, she was born Aug. 25, 1889, in Hilbert, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Gilsdorf. She was married to Frank Schmitz at St. Marys Church in Hilbert on Nov. 27, 1917.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Frank Duchow, Mrs. Gerald Kuechenberg and Mrs. Charles Bogue, all of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Norbert Ramthun of Campbellsport and Mrs. Donald Arndt of Manchester; three sons, Raymond E. of Fond du Lac; Milton of Maumee, Ohio, and Jerome of Otis Air Force Base, Mass.; one brother Othmar Gilsdorf of Hilbert; three sisters, Mrs. Cyril Gehl of Hilbert, Mrs. Tony Hoffman of Chilton and Mrs. George Weigand of Menasha; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchilderen.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bidlingmaier Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Church, city. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

MRS. CATHERINE SCHMITZ
Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Schmitz, who died Saturday, were held at 10 a.m. today at Bidlingmaier Funeral Home and 10:30 am. At St. Marys Church with the Rev. Gerald Schmitz officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edward and Robert Schmitz, Roger Ramthun, William Rahn, Gary A. Moody and Vernon DeMotts.
