    • Louis A. Haffenbredl, 89, of Auburndale, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Palliative Care, Marshfield.
      A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale. The Rev. Eric Linzmaier will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 468 of Milladore.
      Louis was born July 30, 1921, in Auburndale, to Ferdinand and Katherine (Kundinger) Haffenbredl. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Lorraine M. Ertl on Oct. 6, 1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale; she preceded him in death Nov. 26, 2006. He worked at various cheese factories, including Wiskerchen Cheese Factory in Auburndale.
      Survivors include his children, Jerry (Joann) Haffenbredl of Auburndale, Donna (Bill) Roth of Junction City, Randy Haffenbredl of Auburndale and Greg Haffenbredl of Junction City; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
      Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale.
      Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
